Our Goals

Long Term Goals
- Sanctify the Family through a disciplined Family life, with prayer and the sacraments as our skeleton, grace as our muscles, and blessed Eucharist as our lifeblood
- Be stewards of the land regenerating His bounty
- Provide local community with a source of spiritual, mental and physical renewal through onsite activities
- Invigorate in man his need to see, appreciate, and care for God’s creation
Immediate and Near-term Goals
The Executive Director transitions onsite and continues to mature the enhanced mission of Edelweiss House (see updates)
- Welcome everyone, but uphold, be, and run an unapologetically Catholic facility. Only Jesus’ Catholic Church will be able to stand the test of time, therefore nothing but His Catholic magisterium will be taught. This can be based on two facets:
  
  Real Presence (Because 75% of Mass going Catholics don’t believe in it); and
  
  The Family (Because Our Lady said this is the focal point of the battle and we see its destruction before us). If we don’t get this right, nothing else matters (although we should rest assured of course that victory is guaranteed for Him).
- Transition half of the land over to “homestead” (see updates)
- Begin plans for onsite chapel, location, begin fundraising
- Continue domestic church group
- Initiate homeschool co-op opportunity
Permanent Plans and routines
Eight (8) Retreats a Year: Retreat Master would be brought onsite as needed
1. 1. Men (semiannual) - Silent
  2. Women (semiannual) - Silent
  3. Marriage (semiannual) - Semi-Silent
  4. Young Adult (semiannual) - Semi-Silent
  5. Facility will be open for individual private retreats
Catholic Back to the Land Center (Continuous)
Provide the resources to conduct monthly workshops in order to teach life skills to anyone interested. Workshops can range from animal husbandry, butchering, carpentry, vehicle maintenance, and baking/canning. The onsite Family would facilitate the workshop by coordinating with a presenter/instructor, advertising, site preparation, etc.

Life Skills Workshop One Weekend/ Month
Provide the resources to conduct monthly workshops in order to teach life skills to anyone interested. Workshops can range from animal husbandry, butchering, carpentry, vehicle maintenance, and baking/canning. The onsite Family would facilitate the workshop by coordinating with a presenter -instructor, advertising, site preparation, etc.

Domus Christiani:
1. 1. Purpose is the sanctification of the home in marriage by: deepening of the interior life, mutual aid and fraternal charity, and missionary spirit and influence. This aligns perfectly with the enhanced mission of EHI.
  2. Monthly couple group meetings. Couples strive to live a common Rule of Life.
Homeschool Co-op/Cottage School:
