Domus Christiani is an auxiliary work of the sanctification of the family.
It is neither a movement, nor a party, nor a club. Its activities are not first external. Domus Christiani is rooted in everyday life. It is an auxiliary work because its purpose is to help families in the natural and permanent exercise of Christian life. Domus Christiani, through his organization, his rule, his "state of mind", is based on Christian charity and friendship.
A work of support and reinforcement, Domus helps families to meet their vocation, to fulfill their state duties in their own environment. Domus Christiani is a work of married lay people. It is addressed to Catholic homes or wishing to become Catholic. It is a Catholic work of families at the service of families. However, Domus Christiani's final cause is not the family, it is the salvation of souls. Indeed, the family is not an end in itself but a state, a means of sanctification. The basic cell of Domus Christiani is the group of households. A natural gathering of several families with the same desire to be sanctified, Domus Christiani relies on three pillars to help families sanctify themselves:
1. The deepening of inner life
